Fiji music! – Extension
Task description: Kia Ora! This term my extension group has been focusing on music, the way it works and even learning about instruments and music from different countries! Everyone of us in extension had to pick one country that is not associated with them. Since I’m from Myanmar I picked an Island that is Approximately 9834 Kilometres apart! That country is Fiji!
Mrs Burton instructed us to make slideshows about the country we picked! Then we had to research about that country’s traditional authentic instruments and music. After we researched all the information I needed to use, We used a Digital App Called Garage band (It’s an online digital platform where you can create audios and apps!) We had to create an audio (Music) that uses the same beats/instrument and Rhythm.
Then we got to start making music! I used conga’s because they didn’t have Lali’s when this happened to me I had to research some similar sounds. They didn’t have Dulali Bitu Ceguvi so I used some vocals for the ending bit and so on before! The process took some time but felt quick! I have done a Research slide about fiji and all the researching I needed to do! Here it is!
The hardest bit was honestly making the music and researching what similar sounds there were! But I managed to finish! I have finished my audio and I want to present it to you!
